Throughout Sovy Medved’s career, including a battle with cancer,
courage and determination have always paid off.

Raised in Cambodia, it was in San Francisco at the California Culinary Academy, where Sovy developed
her culinary technique. After earning a degree from the academy,
Sovy shared her love of fine food by developing herself as a prominent Bay Area culinary instructor.

Sovy reflects on her desire of fine food, “Instead of having an unhealthy addiction for drugs
or life’s other vices, why not have an addiction for desiring to cook fine food for others to enjoy?”

Now at the helm of her second restaurant, the Pullman Kitchen & Catering, her recent venture has
landed her at Market Hall at the Quarry Ponds Center. Sovy’s experience includes California &
International Cuisine as well as being a CCA Certified Nutritional Chef specializing in Cuisine for
Fitness & Cuisine for Seniors. Sovy offers free consultations for menu reviews to ensure client
preferences are incorporated.

The Pullman Kitchen & Catering offers full service catering for corporate & personal events.
